6th Grade
Wonder is the title of a great book we are listening to in class.  It is about a boy with deformed face who starts school for the first time.  Ask your child about it.

Tues. - Postcard or Video game advertisement
Wed. -Read through p.49 in Loser
Thurs.  - Spelling sentences with adjectives
            -Three paragraph compare and contrast essay

7th Grade
Wednesday Wars is our current read aloud.  It is set during the Vietnam War era.  Ask about the rats!

Tues.  Read the first five pages of "Ashenputtel"
Wed. Spelling Sentences
          Plan paper for Patriot's Pen is due
          Ready for Things Not Seen reading
