Timely Tuesday

Tuesday has flown by!

Memory - Thursday 4th Commandment
Nice job on the 3rd!

LA 6
We wrote summaries and reviews on the Bear movie yesterday in class.

LA 6 and 7  No spelling words this week.

We had a our Spelling Bee in class.  Last week I gave out a list of words.  We followed the pattern of the actual contest.  We had a written test first.  A large group of top spellers and anyone else who wanted to could join us for the oral portion.  In the sixth grade only one student spelling a word correctly on the first round.  Everyone else was technically eliminated.  However we had everyone begin again and in the end Jacob Zelinski came out as our strongest speller.  The seventh graders will have their oral portion on Wednesday.  Nice work to all who gave their best spelling efforts!

LA 6
